The Social Sciences Campus is easily accessible both by private transport and by public transport.
By tram
The Social Sciences Campus can be reached using tram line T2, which connects Santa Maria Novella railway station to Florence-Peretola “Amerigo Vespucci” Airport. Get off at the San Donato-Università stop; from there, the Campus can be reached with a short walk, as shown in the image.
By car

Please note that very close to the university buildings, in Via Sandro Pertini, there is a paid underground car park. The San Donato car park has two vehicle entrances: one at the intersection between Via Pertini and Viale Guidoni, and the other at the intersection between Via Pertini and Via di Novoli. Parking in the streets around the Campus is either paid parking, marked by blue lines, or reserved for local residents, marked by white lines.
By train
The railway station closest to the Social Sciences Campus is Firenze Rifredi. The Campus can be reached on foot in about 15–20 minutes, following the route shown in the image.
Short sections of the route are also served by public transport.
If you arrive at Firenze Santa Maria Novella railway station, you can reach the Social Sciences Campus by taking tram line T2 Vespucci towards Peretola-Airport and getting off at the San Donato-Università stop. From there, the Campus can be reached with a short walk.
It is also possible to take a train to Firenze Rifredi. Trains on the Firenze Santa Maria Novella – Firenze Rifredi route, and return, run every 10–15 minutes.
By plane
Florence-Peretola “Amerigo Vespucci” Airport is located about 3 km from the Campus. The best way to reach the Campus is to take tram line T2, which terminates at the airport, and get off at the San Donato-Università stop. From there, the Campus can be reached with a short walk.
By taxi
The Campus can also be reached by taxi. In Florence, taxi services are operated by Società Coop Tassisti Firenze 4242 and 4390 Taxi Firenze.
