How to get heare

The University Campus of Social Sciences is easily accessible by one’s own means or public transport.

Since February 2019, the Social Sciences Campus can be reached using Tram line T2, connecting Santa Maria Novella station to Florence’s Airport “Amerigo Vespucci” Peretola. Get off at the San Donato-University stop and reach the Campus by walking a short distance, as shown in the image

By car

How to get here (google maps)

Paid parking is available close to the Campus, in Via Sandro Pertini. The SAN DONATO Parking has two driveways: one at the intersection of Via Pertini and Viale Guidoni and the other at the intersection of Via Pertini and Via di Novoli. Parking on streets adjacent to the Campus is either paid (blue-outlined spots) or reserved for residents (white-outlined spots).

By Train
The nearest train station to the Social Sciences Campus is Firenze Rifredi. The Campus can be reached on foot in about 15 to 20 minutes by following the route shown in the image

Arriving instead at the S.M. Novella train station, one can reach the Campus by using the Tramway - line T2 Vespucci in the direction of Peretola-Airport getting off at the San Donato-University stop; walking a short distance to the Campus.

It is also possible to take a direct train to Firenze Rifredi. Trains on the Firenze S. M. Novella (SMN) - Rifredi route (and return) run every 10-15 minutes.

By Air
The Florence-Peretola Airport “Amerigo Vespucci” is about 3 km from the University Campus. The best way to reach the Campus is by tram, taking the T2 Vespucci line with its terminal at the Airport. Get off at the San Donato-University stop and walk a short distance to the Campus.

By Taxi
