The Department of Economics and Business Sciences is pleased to announce that, as of 2026, it has become a member of EFMD – the European Foundation for Management Development, one of the most prestigious international organizations in the field of management education accreditation and development.
Founded in 1972, EFMD is a global network bringing together over 900 institutions, including universities, departments and schools of economics and management, business schools, and companies, across more than 90 countries. Its mission is to promote excellence in education, research, and innovation in the field of management and economics. Through internationally recognized accreditation systems such as EQUIS, EPAS (now EFMD Accredited), and EFMD Global, EFMD sets high quality standards and supports the continuous improvement of academic institutions worldwide.
