The Departments are key actors in the University’s Quality Assurance System.
Within the framework of Quality Assurance processes, Departments prepare the following documents annually:
These documents are prepared in accordance with the formats, procedures, and timelines established by specific acts and circulars issued by the University of Florence, in compliance with ANVUR requirements and the University’s Quality Assurance System.
The main bodies involved in the Department’s QA processes are the Director, the Department Council, the Steering and Self-Assessment Committee, and any delegates appointed for specific areas.
For the implementation of QA processes relating to Degree Programmes and PhD Programmes, the Department also relies on the work carried out by the governing bodies of the Programmes for which it is responsible, as well as by the Schools in which it participates.
